Katsu Uchiyama

南デンマーク大学博士課程1年目。明治大学にて2024年と2026年に学士（工学）と修士（工学）を取得。ロボットエンジニアとしてシンクロボで自律移動ロボットのソフトウェア開発などに従事。
研究の興味は、ヘビ型ロボットをはじめとしたソフトロボットによる、未知環境や不整地でのロコモーションや身体性。Katsu Uchiyama is a 1st-year Ph.D. student at the University
of Southern Denmark. He received his Bachelor of Engineering
and Master of Engineering degrees from Meiji University,
Japan, in 2024 and 2026, respectively. Prior to this, he
worked as a robotics engineer at Synchrobo, Inc., in Japan,
developing software for autonomous robot systems.
His
research focuses on locomotion and embodiment in soft robots
— including snake-like robots — for navigating unknown
environments and rough terrain.
